I started this blog for a very simple reason. I’ve spent the last 10 years writing about interior design, life and travel for other people, and while I love what I do, I really wanted a place online that was just for me.

The Covet Files is a place where I can write about all the things I love without the limitations imposed by clients, editors or pr agencies. A place where the number of views on any given post doesn’t matter. A place where ad revenue doesn’t matter. Here, I get to post whatever I want, and I have to say, so far it’s pretty awesome.

My goal here is to share the things that make me happy, and beautiful things make me very happy!
