Every now and then I stumble across a photo that stops me in my tracks. At first when I saw this I was struck by the combinations of colours and textures. I love the slate and wood combo, I love that it’s dotted with pomegranate seeds, and most of all I love the cheese cake! Not a cheesecake mind you, but a piece of cake made with layers of cheese and herbs. How awesome would it be to serve this to guests?

I have yet to find an exact recipe, but surely it can’t be too tough to make. The key is really in the styling more than anything else. Pick yourself up a nice wood slab or charcuterie board to serve it on, and don’t forget to dot it with some green and red accents. As far as the drink goes, I would probably switch it out to red wine but hey, that’s just me.
