The Best Christmas Candle

There are two very important things when it comes to Christmas ambiance – twinkle lights and the smell of cedar and balsam. The lights are no problem, but I’ve always struggled with the scents. No matter what tree I get, and no matter how many real wreaths I have, the smell never seems to stick around. The first few days are great, and then it fades.

Last year I went to a neighbor’s house a few days after Christmas and she had a really nice candle with a faint smell of cedar. It was lovely. She couldn’t remember where she had got it when I asked, but it made me determined to find one that would make up for what was missing in my home.

Well, it didn’t take long. I went searching on Amazon and found one that had a nice tin container and had good reviews. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I figured it was worth a shot. So I ordered it and it arrived a few days later.

O.M.G. This is the best Christmas candle. Even before lighting it, it smelled amazing. And when I lit it? It was exactly what I was looking for. This candle is no joke. Christmas in a tin.

I wasn’t familiar with this company before I bought this candle, but I’ll definitely check them out again. The scent is really lovely and the tin is quite sophisticated. The only complaint I have is that it didn’t last as long as I would have liked. I burnt it down within just a couple of weeks. But that didn’t stop me from buying another one for this holiday season.

I find that it’s hard to please everyone when it comes to scented candles. They’re either too smelly or not smelly enough. All I can give you is my opinion, but I really love this one and would recommend it to anyone who wants to fill their home with the Christmasy scent of cedar. It really is the best Christmas candle I’ve ever found. And, full disclosure – I’ve included an affiliate link so if you make a purchase I might get a small commission (but I would have posted this even without it – it’s that good).

It’s a little early in the season so I don’t have decorations up yet, but when I do I’ll post a few more photos. If only you could share scent through a photo!
